Sunny Royal-Boyd (Tampa) is a devoted advocate for women and families, renowned for her transformative impact through service and mentorship. As the founder and coordinator of Leading Ladies, an organization dedicated to supporting women in crisis, Sunny has expanded essential outreach programs that provide shelter, mental health services, college prep, job training, and financial support for women escaping domestic violence and poverty. Her compassionate approach has empowered countless women and teens to rebuild their lives with confidence and resilience.

In addition to Leading Ladies, Sunny serves with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, where her workshops on leadership, self-esteem, and academic excellence inspire young women from underserved communities to overcome societal and economic barriers. Her advocacy work has driven policy changes that increase funding for shelters, affordable childcare, and educational access, creating lasting systemic support for women in need.

Despite personal hardships, Sunny’s unwavering commitment to service continues to inspire her community. She has recruited and trained over 200 volunteers, fostering a strong support network and exemplifying the spirit of volunteerism. Sunny’s resilience, empathy, and dedication make her an influential leader and role model, championing positive change for women and girls.
