Lori Day is a corporate executive and entrepreneur with diverse leadership in executive coaching, process engineering, operations, leadership development, strategy deployment and team building. Lori is a community advocate and women’s causes champion.
Lori Day lives in St. Johns County, and is the owner of New Day Solutions, a business, career and health consulting company, where the focus is creating wellness at work, home, and in the community. She wrote and has a copyright to her proprietary coaching program, Wing It ©. She is active as a business consultant for CGI Technologies as their director of Client Strategies and Development.
Lori served corporately in C-Suite and executive roles with some of the largest companies in financial services. Throughout her career she has enjoyed many successes developing strong teams across multiple time zones and business cultures; and individual mentoring with managers and professionals. Lori is also certified in Six Sigma and Lean Process Engineering.
Lori is a strong community steward in Northeast Florida. She serves as Vice President of Northeast Florida’s Women Business Owners, is an alumnus and on the Board of Leadership Jacksonville and serves Rethreaded as a member of the collaborative giving circle. Lori has previously served as an advisor on the Athena Power Link Panel, former member of the executive board of the Hubbard House, and Women in Business Awards Executive Chair in 2013 and 2014. In 2013, Lori was named Jacksonville’s Women of Influence honoree and Jacksonville’s Leading Ladies in 2017 and 2018. She was awarded the role of Olympic Torchbearer for the 2002 Salt Lake City games for her community service.
Lori is married to a native Floridian and has four children ranging between 13 and 29 years old. She appreciates the partnership she and her husband have so they can stay actively involved in their kids’ academic and extracurricular activities while maintaining their respective professional responsibilities.
To keep it all together, she takes daily doses of her own medicine regarding work life balance. She is writing a book titled “Fast Life, Good Food” that combines her Lean process engineering knowledge with her experience as a working mom to help other busy people learn how to have healthy food at home and have time to spend with the ones they love.
