Lila Star Morgan (Lithia) is a dedicated student at the University of South Florida, where she maintains a 4.0 GPA while double-majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. Graduating high school a year early with honors, Lila has demonstrated exceptional commitment to academic achievement and leadership, with aspirations to pursue a law degree and serve in the Army JAG Corps.

Over the past three years, Lila has amassed an impressive 6,781 volunteer hours, showcasing her deep commitment to community service and engagement. Currently, she serves as the Cadet Commander for the Civil Air Patrol’s Brandon Cadet Squadron, leading over 60 cadets while promoting values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. As President of the Youth Advisory Council to the Florida National Guard, she has organized more than 20 annual events and launched the statewide “Operation Dandelion” initiative, which focuses on youth empowerment and leadership development. Lila also shares her passion for education as a 5th Grade Hebrew School teacher at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment for her students.

Lila’s accomplishments include being named Phase 2 Cadet of the Year for FLWG Group 8 in 2023 and winning first place in Extemporaneous Speech at the Southeast Region level for the Civil Air Patrol. She has also received the Daughters of 1812 Award in 2023 and the prestigious Accomplished American Grand Supreme title in 2023. Her dedication to excellence in leadership is further recognized by the Amelia Earhart Award in the Civil Air Patrol and the Superior Cadet Award from Newsome JROTC in 2023.

With her extensive leadership experience, significant community service contributions, and academic success, Lila exemplifies the qualities of a future leader committed to making a meaningful impact on her community and beyond.
