Commissioner Kerry Irvin serves as Chief Executive Officer of Operation Healing Forces, a national nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the overall well-being of U.S. Special Operations Forces service members, veterans, caregivers, and families through evidence-based programs focused on resilience, mental health, and long-term well-being. Through her work, she has developed and scaled programs that address access to health services, caregiving support, workforce participation, and leadership development, providing her with a practical, systems-level perspective on the policies and resources that shape opportunity and stability for women and families.

Kerry is a Certified Master Resilience Trainer and a nationally recognized leader in mental health, posttraumatic growth, and human performance. Her work focuses on improving access to quality, affordable care while advancing community-based approaches that support long-term well-being. She serves on the Executive Committee of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Pinellas County, advancing collaborative, community-based approaches to mental health, brain health, and caregiving, and also serves on the U.S. Advisory Council for the American Swiss Foundation, contributing to dialogue on workforce development, economic policy, and international trade.

A Tampa Bay Businesswoman of the Year Honoree and recipient of the U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Kerry is also deeply committed to mentorship and leadership development. She mentors military spouses and young professional women through Chamber of Commerce and corporate mentorship programs, supporting career advancement, professional confidence, and economic participation.

Kerry lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband, a retired U.S. Army special operations aviator, and remains actively engaged in civic initiatives that strengthen families and expand opportunity across the state.
