Jennifer T. Collins

Commissioner Collins was appointed by Chris Sprowls, the Florida Speaker of the House, in 2022. She was born abroad to a military family who always called Florida home. She attended Florida State University, earning both a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate. She began her legal career working as an Assistant Attorney General in Tallahassee, FL. She has lived in various cities throughout the state including Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Boynton Beach and, currently, Tampa. Commissioner Collins has experience in Development, Fundraising and Child Advocacy. She currently serves on the Attorney General’s Statewide Human Trafficking Council as Chair of the Education and Awareness Committee, and the Florida Public Service Nominating Commission. Her dedication to her community is demonstrated in her work with Meals on Wheels, Christ the King Catholic Church, local high schools, Florida State University and her part-time role as a Guardian Ad Litem representing children in the foster care system.

Voices of Florida Women Survey

The goal of this study is to identify key issues facing women, understand critical needs women and their communities perceive as important, build trust with constituents, and highlight the diverse viewpoints of all segments of the population from across the state.
