Evangelia I. Felix (Tallahassee) is a seasoned graphic designer with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art/Graphic Design from Florida State University. With 23 years of dedicated service to the Florida Department of Management Services, she has made significant contributions to the Division of Communications, and the Division of Real Estate Development and Management. Her expertise encompasses the design and fabrication of signs, logos, brochures, posters, banners, framed plaques, and diverse media productions which serve hundreds of thousands of daily visitors to State of Florida office buildings. Additionally, Evangelia has collaborated with the Environmental Health and Safety section to support the safe and healthy operation of facilities and the Bureau of Property Services to help manage the State’s extensive real estate portfolio showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence in her field. Vangie has spent many years tirelessly volunteering her time with the Florida Commission on the Status of Women (FCSW), dedicating herself to the creation of awards for the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame inductees. She has crafted each plaque that now hangs in the Capitol Rotunda, preserving the legacy of these remarkable women and celebrating their achievements. In recognition of her outstanding dedication and the positive impact of her work, the FCSW is pleased to present Vangie with an honorary Spirit of Community Award, celebrating her unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the Commission’s mission.
