Brittany Yonge

Commissioner Brittany Yonge was appointed by Paul Renner, the Florida Speaker of the House, in 2024. She has lived in Florida for over 25 years and has a passion for women and families in the state. She attended the University of Florida, earning a degree in Finance as well as the University of South Florida, earning a Master’s degree in Accounting and CPA license. Commissioner Yonge began her accounting career at EY in Tampa serving in the Audit practice. She has lived in various cities across the state including Pensacola, Destin, Jacksonville, and currently Tampa.

Brittany is currently a proud stay-at-home-mother to 8 young children, ranging from age 11 to 7 months. She is particularly vested in the well-being of young girls in the state as she is raising five daughters! Commissioner Yonge has served in a volunteer capacity within many ministries at Christ the King Catholic Church, including the fight against human trafficking and supporting women in crisis pregnancies. She has served in her local community as a board member for the St. Lawrence Youth Athletic program. Brittany is currently on the Advisory Board for the Messy Family Project, a non-profit organization that supports mothers and fathers on their journey of intentional parenting. She enjoys spending time with her loving husband and children, running, watching Gator football, and volunteering around Tampa Bay.

The goal of this study is to identify key issues facing women, understand critical needs women and their communities perceive as important, build trust with constituents, and highlight the diverse viewpoints of all segments of the population from across the state.
