Tallahassee, FL (September 6, 2019) — The Florida Commission on the Status of Women is conducting a series of public forums around the state inviting women in Florida’s diverse regions and communities to talk to us about the challenges they encounter in their everyday lives. The 2019 Voices of Florida Women Listening Tour is a coordinated partnership with local commissions for women and other organizations from the panhandle to Key West to hold community conversations in their communities. Florida women are also invited to “talk to us” through an online survey. Community Conversations will be scheduled throughout the state over the next year. Confirmed dates are listed below.
The Commission is seeking partner organizations to host community conversations throughout the state. We are scheduling forums across the state now, hoping to finish before December 2019. Click here to learn how to bring Voices of Florida Women to your community.
