Tuesday, April 14, 2015 is the national observance of Equal Pay Day, the day when citizens around the country recognize the wage gap between working women and men. The Florida Commission on the Status of Women will be joining the Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, and the Tampa City Council in a special event to present a proclamation recognizing Tuesday, April 14, 2015 as Equal Pay Day. The event will begin at 10 AM and will be held at the Joe Chillura Courthouse Square.
