Mrs. Lopez-Cantera is the VP of Business Development for a programmatic media agency, Eikon Digital. Prior to this role, she was the Audience Growth and Initiatives Manager at the Miami Herald Media Company/McClatchy for 10 years.
She has 20 years of consumer marketing experience in media, real estate and consumer product. She graduated with her MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami in 1998, and her undergraduate degree is from Tulane University in Political Science.
Mrs. Lopez-Cantera’s true passions lie in serving the community as a volunteer, focusing on children and family issues. She was awarded the Neighbors 4 Neighbors award by the S. Florida CBS affiliate for her business and community service. Currently, Mrs. Lopez-Cantera serves on the boards of the New World School of the Arts, Mindful Kids Miami, and HFLA. She also is a Junior League Sustainer, Big Brothers/Big Sisters Miracle Maker, and has served for 5 years on the United Way Women’s Leadership Committee. Mrs. Lopez-Cantera is a native Floridian, and her favorite role is as a Mom of two young girls with her husband, Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera.
