Patti W. Hamilton
Patti W. Hamilton has more than 25 years of business leadership experience focused on the areas of operations, strategic marketing, business development, employee leadership advancement and community affairs. Her career spans automotive, golf, waste management, recycling and event operations.
Most recently she served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Southern Waste Systems and Sun Recycling where as a member of the Executive team for over 7 years, she was responsible for marketing, business development, community affairs, employee leadership advancement and legislative affairs. She represented the company regarding the C&D Recycling industry both locally and nationally. Additionally, she was a partner in All Star Toilet LLC, a provider of portable restroom facilities to the construction industry and major festivals, community events, fairs and sporting events throughout South East Florida. She is currently serving as a transition consultant with Waste Management Inc. of Florida and is the Principal of Power of 10 Consulting, LLC.
Having held leadership positions with many professional and non-profit boards over her career, she currently serves on the State Legislative Committee for the National Waste and Recycling Association, the Recycle Florida Today legislative committee and is the immediate past chairman of the Florida Festivals and Events Association.
She was appointed to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women by Florida Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater in 2011 and currently serves as Chair of the Commission. In addition, she serves as a board member of Bella’s Angels, the South Florida Fair, 211, the Roger Dean Stadium Advisory Board, the Vestry Board of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and the Jupiter Medical Center.
She has been recognized with a number of community awards including the International Athena Award, the March of Dimes Women of Distinction, the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, Women in Leadership Award, Northwood University’s Outstanding Alumni Award and the 2013 Gaeta Chairman’s Award, a recognition which honors those individuals and organizations that have provided the framework for the Northern Palm Beach County Community. She has been honored for her work with the Boys and Girls Clubs and the Boy Scouts of America. In November 2014, she was honored nationally by Northwood University as one of seven with the University’s Distinguished Women Award. She and her husband Charlie have three young adult children, Reed, Parker and Madison.Back
