FLORIDA COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN LAUNCHES ON-LINE FLORIDA WOMEN”S RESOURCE DIRECTORY
Tallahassee, FL (March 17, 2017) — The Florida Commission on the Status of Women (FCSW) proudly announces the launch of its new online resource directory located at fcsw.net/resources/directory/. The directory currently includes more than 250 listings of organizations vital to improving the status of women and families in Florida.
The directory is one of the many ways the Commission focuses on providing a collaborative platform for those seeking information on issues that affect women, girls and their families in our state. Each of the 67 counties is unique and we value and applaud the incredible work being done by the hundreds of organizations in each community. We are all interested in improving the well-being of Florida women and girls – and by extension, all Floridians. There is great power in uniting and connecting. Finding each other, however, is not always easy.
The Florida Women’s Resource On-line Directory is a way to fill this information gap and to connect groups and organizations vital to improving the status of women and families in Florida. In doing so, we strive to be a resource for lawmakers, businesses, and residents so they have a better understanding of these important issues.
The powerful search feature can be used when seeking information on a specific organization or all organizations in a city or county. Organizations can also be viewed by category of services offered. Each listing contains contact information and a link to the organization’s website, if available. Listings are free and are only provided to organizations serving Florida women To request your organization’s information be listed in this directory, please complete this form.
